Play Maker: Sensational Sophmore Tyler Black

by. Correspondent Jason Wright –  TN High School SportsCenter

There are different levels of speed.  There is track speed then there is football speed.  Many athletes are fast on the track but it does not translate when they put pads on, and play football.   However, sometimes you find an athlete who dos not lose a step when the pads go on.  Tyler Black is one of those athletes.  Already possessing a 40 yard dash time in the 4.7 second range with more than two years still to develop at the high school level, you do not need a stopwatch to see Tyler is fast on the football field.  All you need to do is watch his highlight film and his athleticism jumps out at you whether it is on the football field or basketball court.

Tyler has nice body control, good vision to see the field or court, and can stop or change directions quickly.  Tyler stands out on a team loaded with college prospects, including one of the top offensive lines in the State of Tennessee.

Track athletes seem to know how to push their athletic limits.  Tyler is no different.  He is very talented in other areas of his life.  He is a singer, artist and loves to have fun in life.  Tyler is very respectful, humble and gives credit to others in his life.  Tyler Black is talented…He is a true Play Maker!
