Jalen Hurd commits to UT Knoxville
With offers in his hands from the nations elite football programs, junior soon to be senior running back Jalen Hurd of Beech High School commits to the University of Tennessee. Hurd set the Tennessee state single season rushing record this past year with 3,357 yards from scrimmage, followed by a flawless season and a 5A State title. This is a major win for new coach Butch Jones and his coaching staff. Following several years of mediocre recruiting classes under Derrick Dooley, Coach Jones has his work cut out for him for many years to come. But with the addition of top recruits like Jalen Hurd, Todd Kelly Jr, and Vic Wharton the future for UT Football starts to look very good!
