Page High School senior Jake Laster has chosen to attend and play football for the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky.
Laster played middle linebacker and was the place kicker this year. On defense, he recorded 146 tackles, eight forced fumbles and three sacks to earn Super Regional honors.
He also kicked the game winning extra-point in overtime to defeat Signal Mountain 42-41 for a first-round playoff victory in Chattanooga.
Laster recently signed a letter-of-intent to accept a scholarship from UC, with head coach John Bland on hand for the ceremony.
