This 6A game between East Tennessee heavyweights Bradley Central who sits at 8-2 and Science Hill who sits at 7 – 3, is one of the BIG match-ups on our list for the 1st round. Bradley Central finished up their year in 6A Region II having to play division foe Maryville Rebels the last game of the season. Prior to playing the Rebels, Bradley Central had gone on a eight-game winning streak, with their only other loss being to their week 1 opponent the Farragut Admirals. Science Hill, like Bradley Central, lost their last regular-season game of the year to Jefferson County. Which team will get back onto the winning track? In my opinion I feel that Bradley Central is the team to keep an eye on in this game. Science Hill coming out of 6A region 1 has played some really stiff competition between Farragut, Dobyns-Bennett, and Bearden just to name a few. However, I’m really impressed with this Bradley Central team coached by Damon Floyd. Central is led by a dynamic senior wide receiver Lameric Tucker who just recently verbally committed to University of Tennessee Chattanooga to play with his former quarterback Cole Copeland. Science Hill also has a stud at the quarterback position in Jaylan Adams who also is a threat in the defensive backfield as well. Adams reminds me a bit of Joshua Dobbs with his build, elusiveness out of the pocket, and his arm strength. Bradley Central has my attention however Jaylan Adams and his offense could prove to be the spoiler.
